SCADA Engineer

Job Title: SCADA Consultant

Duration: +6 weeks

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SCADA CygNet Expert/Consultant for a 6-week project. Our client has recently taken over legacy SCADA systems that were previously overseen by non-SCADA personnel, leading to suboptimal practices. We need a professional to overhaul, optimize, and reprogram these systems to align with industry standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:

• Assess the current state of the SCADA systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Rearchitect the SCADA systems to align with best practices.
• Retool and rescript the backend code to enhance functionality and performance.
• Revamp facility attributes to ensure accurate and efficient data management.
• Break apart existing facilities and assign new Device Function Templates (DFTs).
• Implement and assign new DFTs to the appropriate facilities.
• Collaborate with the client's team to ensure seamless integration and implementation.
• Provide documentation and training to the client's team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with CygNet SCADA systems.
• Proven track record of rearchitecting and optimizing SCADA systems.
• Strong scripting and coding skills, particularly in SCADA environments.
• In-depth knowledge of best practices for SCADA system management.
• Ability to work independently and manage a short-term project effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other SCADA systems and integration.
