Job Title: SOX compliance/GRC Consultant
Work Location & Reporting Address: Indianapolis, IN 46222
Contract duration: 12 Months

Must Have Skills:
GRC Tool knowledge
IT SOX compliance
Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., COSO, COBIT)

Detailed Job Description:
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT SOX compliance programs.
Assist in the identification, documentation, and testing of IT general controls (ITGCs) and automated application controls.
Coordinate and collect audit evidence to support control testing and external audits, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Maintain and organize documentation related to control performance, risk assessments, and remediation plans.
Monitor and track remediation of deficiencies and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure timely and accurate responses to audit requests.
Participate in process walkthroughs and assist in updating control narratives and risk/control matrices.
Assist in maintaining the GRC tool or platform (e.g., ServiceNow, Archer, Audit Board, etc.), ensuring all control data and evidence are up to date.
Stay informed on regulatory changes, industry standards (e.g., COSO, COBIT), and best practices related to IT governance and compliance.
Support internal projects to enhance compliance automation, process improvements, and control effectiveness.
