Job Details

We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of databases supporting enterprise applications in a hybrid work setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances

  • Monitor database performance, tuning queries, indexes, and execution plans

  • Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies

  • Implement and support High Availability / Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions

  • Perform database security management, access control, and auditing

  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide production support

  • Plan and execute database upgrades and patching

  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams

  • Maintain documentation and follow best practices

Required Skills

  • Strong experience as a SQL Server DBA

  • Expertise in SQL Server 2016/2019/2022

  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL

  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization

  • Hands-on experience with backup, restore, and recovery

  • Knowledge of Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering

  • Experience with database security and compliance

  • Windows Server administration basics

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Azure SQL / SQL Managed Instance

  • PowerShell scripting

  • Monitoring tools (Redgate, SentryOne, SolarWinds, etc.)

  • Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS

  • Certifications: Microsoft SQL Server / Azure DB
