Job Details

Hiring: W2 Candidates Only

Visa: Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers

  • Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies

  • Develop and manage ETL processes for data integration and migration

  • Collaborate with application developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across databases

  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks

  • Participate in database design reviews and implement best practices

  • Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)

  • Experience with stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers

  • Knowledge of database normalization, indexing, and query optimization

  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts

  • Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Oracle PL/SQL, or similar tools

  • Knowledge of cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL)

  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS)

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
