Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining database solutions, writing complex SQL queries, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity. You will work closely with analysts, software developers, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable SQL queries, procedures, and functions.
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and suggest enhancements.
Develop and manage ETL processes to support data integration and reporting.
Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and triggers.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving database-related issues.
Maintain documentation related to database development and procedures.
Implement data security and compliance standards as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2 5 years of hands-on experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing SQL performance.
Experience with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
Understanding of database architecture, indexing, and partitioning.
Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica) is a plus.
Experience with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python is a bonus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Certification in SQL or relevant database technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
