Role Overview
We are migrating customer service data from a legacy Mainframe environment into Salesforce and need a specialist to design and implement a robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) model within Salesforce. This role will focus on Salesforce security architecture, permission sets, profiles, and identity management automation integrated with Active Directory and Azure.

Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Security Assessment: Review current Salesforce setup (permission sets, profiles, roles) and document existing access models.
- RBAC Design & Implementation: Create a scalable RBAC framework for Salesforce, including a role matrix for multiple business units.
- Environment Segmentation: Assist in separating three major business units into distinct Salesforce environments.
- Identity & Access Automation:Integrate Azure AD Groups with Salesforce permission sets.
- Implement SCIM for automated provisioning and updates from AD to Salesforce.
- Enable least-privilege access principles across all Salesforce environments.
- Security Optimization: Configure and enhance Salesforce Security Center usage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SKIM admins to set up and maintain identity sync processes.
- Salesforce Security Expertise: Deep understanding of permission sets, profiles, and role hierarchy.
- RBAC Design: Proven experience creating RBAC models in Salesforce.
- SSO & IAM Integration: Hands-on experience with Single Sign-On, Azure AD, and SCIM.
- Familiarity with least-privilege access models and compliance best practices.
- Experience with Salesforce Shield or advanced security features.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Security Center and governance frameworks.
- Strong background in automation for identity lifecycle management.
- Audit and document current Salesforce security configuration.
- Build and validate a role matrix with stakeholders.
- Configure AD-to-Salesforce automation for provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Implement SCIM integration and test workflows.
- Optimize Salesforce security settings and monitor compliance.
- High Impact: You'll define the security foundation for Salesforce across multiple business units.
