Job Title: Salesforce Senior Administrator/Developer
Location: Columbus, OH 43215 (Onsite)

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Senior Administrator/Developer to join our IT team. This role requires a certified Salesforce professional with strong expertise in development, administration, and best practices. The candidate will troubleshoot and resolve critical issues within the Salesforce environment, establish development and deployment standards, and mentor junior developers to ensure long-term scalability and stability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Salesforce, providing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving.

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of the current Salesforce environment to identify issues and recommend solutions.

  • Establish and document development and deployment standards, including:

    • Code review and QA guidelines

    • Naming conventions for objects, fields, and code

    • Security and data access best practices

  • Develop and implement solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.

  • Maintain detailed documentation for development and administrative processes.

  • Mentor and guide the junior Salesforce developer to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver scalable applications.

  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer.

  • Active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect).

  • Expertise in Salesforce development technologies: Apex, Visualforce, LWC.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration, including security models, data management, and user management.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve Sev1/Sev2 issues in production environments.

  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset) is highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.

  • Experience in small IT team environments.

  • Expertise in automated testing and quality gates.

  • Architecting and building complex business automation using Salesforce Flow.
