RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master in Jupiter, FL.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in project management and a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing technical Agile teams. This role is critical to driving Agile maturity across the organization and ensuring successful delivery of complex software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader, coach, and facilitator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about Agile principles and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scrum Master will lead multiple Agile teams through the full software development lifecycle using Scrum and other Agile frameworks
* Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
* Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile best practices and principles
* Remove impediments and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
* Partner with Product Owners to ensure a well-defined and prioritized backlog
* Track and report on team metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.) to drive transparency and performance
* As a Scrum Master, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines
* Champion Agile transformation initiatives and contribute to the development of Agile standards and practices across the organization
* Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to the growth of the Agile community of practice
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
* 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity
* Strong project management experience, preferably in a technical or software development environment
* Proven success in building and leading high-performing Agile teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
