Position Overview
The Security Technical Analyst will serve as a senior-level consultant supporting Client's Enterprise Security (ESEC) team. This role is responsible for implementing and executing technical aspects of the Enterprise Security Plan, proactively identifying and responding to threats, and mentoring junior staff. The consultant will act as a subject matter expert on security issues/projects, advising leadership on best practices, and ensuring effective knowledge transfer to Client's employees.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and assess threats to users, networks, and data.
Monitor, investigate, and respond to reports of malicious activity, intrusions, and security events.
Perform thorough forensic analysis using security tools and processes.
Process and analyze Threat Intelligence (TI) to identify actionable intelligence.
Contain, eradicate, and recover from security incidents.
Collaborate with business units, partners, and external stakeholders to mitigate threats.
Advise CISO and ESEC leadership on strategy, forensics, and incident management best practices.
Act as Lead/Co-Lead/Backup on assigned security projects.
Represent ESEC in meetings as a Senior Lead for security matters.
Mentor junior staff and enhance team knowledge through training and documentation.
Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
Provide weekly status reports and monthly mentoring & skill enhancement reports.
