Pay Range: $45 - $56/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production.
  • Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements.
  • Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
  • Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
  • Assist development of new products.
  • Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
  • Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production.
  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
  • 5+ years experience in aerospace/aviation product or process engineering experience.
  • Product or process engineering experience.
  • Product assembly and test experience.
  • Experience with optics, sensors, and/or electronic assemblies.
  • Experience with product yield management and improvement.
