Senior Back End Ruby on Rails Engineer / AI / Startup / San Francisco

We're looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with strong Ruby on Rails expertise to help build and scale customer-facing applications. You'll take ownership of critical parts of the platform, collaborating closely with front-end engineers and product teams to deliver impactful features and a seamless user experience.

This role is onsite in San Francisco

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Strong database knowledge such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Prior experience working in Series B startup
• Experience with service oriented architecture such as GraphQL and REST

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience working with React and TypeScript
• Familiarity with AI tools
