JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying gaps, and designing solutions involving complex information systems built on a commercial product platform. The person is expected to work independently as part of a geographically diverse team to deliver solutions for State government clients in the Medicaid Claims Fiscal Agent domain. This role involves managing requirement scope, determining appropriate approaches to address gaps, and serving as a bridge between technical teams and the client through all project phases.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 7+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience in Medicaid or Heath Care Domain with strong claims fiscal agent domain expertise.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.
- Excellent customer relation skills including presentation and meeting facilitation
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Unwavering commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Viso)
- Knowledge of the claims fiscal agent domain
- Has an applicable domain knowledge of the CMS MITA Architecture.
- Experience working on State or Federal government projects.
- Knowledge of modern software development methodologies including Agile
- Experience using Confluence and JIRA tools

- Prioritizes and schedules work assignments based on the project plan, handling multiple tasks across project phases.
- Creates and modifies Business Process Models.
- Understands the overall system architecture and cross-functional integration.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of business analysis relates to Provider Enrollment, Maintenance and Screening to ensure high quality.
- Demonstrates advanced expertise and contributes to the Business Analysis practice by publishing technology points of view through the creation of white papers.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge and is well-versed in multiple functions or capabilities.
- Uses cases, workflow diagrams, and gap analysis to create and modify requirements documents and design specifications.
- Analyzes user requirements and client business needs, leveraging expert opinion and expertise.
- Acts as the requirements subject matter expert and supports requirements change management.
- Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.
