Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Job Type: Contract

Position Summary

The organization is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide analytical expertise in support of multiple data and technology initiatives. This role focuses on researching, eliciting, analyzing, validating, and documenting business and system requirements to ensure alignment with stakeholder needs. The analyst will translate business requirements into system and application specifications and support project delivery across data-centric initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research, elicit, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements

  • Ensure requirements accurately reflect true business needs and stakeholder perspectives

  • Translate business needs into system/application requirements and project components

  • Support development of functional requirements for tool and solution development

  • Collaborate with project managers to identify and manage requirement changes and project risks

  • Assist in managing stakeholder expectations through clear documentation and communication

  • Apply industry and IT expertise to support proposals, feasibility studies, implementations, and new initiatives

  • Work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to support data operations and technology projects


Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare financing concepts

  • Broad understanding of the healthcare provider sector and key industry stakeholders

  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively while managing scope and expectations

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and propose innovative, out-of-the-box solutions

  • Strong planning, communication, change management, and cultural awareness skills

  • Working knowledge of financial documents (e.g., audited financial statements) and financial analysis techniques

  • Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel (advanced formulas, charts, tables)

  • Experience with Tableau and other data visualization tools

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as collaboratively in team environments
