We are looking for Senior Business Analyst for our client in Richmond, VA
Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
- 5+ years of proven working experience as a business systems analyst for medium to large projects.
- Able to communicate and collaborate with agile delivery teams and other technical staff, business partners and vendors.
- Able to lead requirements-gathering sessions, including workshops, interviews, and document analysis, to capture detailed business needs.
- Able to accurately translate system and business requirements into epics, features and user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
- Able to write UAT test scripts and proficient in UAT testing.
- Able to identify and document project risks and actions to mitigate risks.
- Able to track requirements throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, VISIO, Draw.io, ADO, JIRA, Confluence and BI Tools.
- Analytical and able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and
- weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.
- Working experience utilizing the following soft skills:
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal direct supervision.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
