Senior Business Analyst

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 12-month contract position with a leading organization located in the Milwaukee, WI area. This role is onsite.

Summary:
Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support Marketing Campaign initiatives within a collaborative team of product professionals. This role will partner closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and subject matter experts in an agile environment to drive business outcomes through technology. The ideal candidate brings strong domain expertise, advanced requirements leadership, and the ability to operate independently while mentoring others.

Responsibilities:

• Provide deep business expertise in at least one domain, with a broad understanding of surrounding business areas.
• Act as a subject matter authority at the department level and, as needed, contribute insights at the enterprise level.
• Independently assess, document, and analyze current-state processes across multiple business areas and domains.
• Perform future-state and gap analysis, thinking strategically to define target-state solutions aligned with business drivers.
• Lead requirements gathering efforts for medium to large initiatives spanning multiple business domains.
• Author medium- to high-complexity user stories and/or features, sometimes across multiple teams.
• Serve as an authority throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
• Coordinate and facilitate business test planning and execution, including authoring test plans and securing business sign-off.
• Work independently while mentoring and guiding other Business Analysts as needed.
• Apply advanced project management skills to lead, complete, and advance initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within an agile and scrum-based development environment.

Pay Rate: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 45 years of prior experience demonstrating progressive business analysis responsibilities.
• Strong ability to position oneself as a communications authority and go-to resource for key information and decision-making.
• Demonstrated domain expertise through prior roles, internships, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications demonstrating proficiency in role-specific competencies preferred.
• Deep familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems, apply new perspectives to existing solutions, and exercise sound judgment based on multiple data sources.
