Position Summary:
Our customer is implementing a more consistent and structured process for manufacturing new insurance products. This role will be critical in defining, implementing, and managing this process in the early phases well ahead of technology development or agile implementation cycles.
Unlike roles focused on downstream IT execution, this position sits earlier in the product lifecycle. It requires collaboration across multiple business units, including Underwriting, Actuarial, Legal, Compliance, and Technology, to align goals, streamline workflows, and drive operational readiness for product launches.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional efforts to define and document a standardized product manufacturing process.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple business functions.
- Act as the central liaison between business stakeholders and downstream technology teams.
- Identify and resolve process gaps and inefficiencies before they impact implementation.
- Develop playbooks, workflows, and governance models to support repeatable product development.
- Ensure alignment of business requirements with regulatory, actuarial, and underwriting standards.
- Facilitate effective communication and decision-making among all involved departments.
Qualifications:
- Strong business acumen with hands-on experience in Specialty Insurance is essential.
- Proven project management skills, with a track record of delivering business process or product development projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders across multiple departments and levels.
- Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in environments with both business and technology components.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks in insurance is a plus.
- PMP certification or similar is a plus, though not required.
