Senior Business Systems Analyst

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a contract with our client in Minneapolis. 60% Remote.

Job Description:
Our client seeks two experienced Senior Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) to join their team immediately. As a Senior BSA, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects forward within the financial services and banking domain. The ideal candidates will possess a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate through a diverse range of personalities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and vendor partners, particularly in the financial services and banking sector, to deliver on key projects.
• Lead the analysis and documentation of requirements for various initiatives, with a focus on a primary project involving a Savings Account Product.
• Utilize regulatory banking knowledge to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Work closely with vendor partners to understand and manage savings account data, including aspects like Interest Rate fluctuations.
• Engage in data integration, API understanding, and data mapping activities to support technical implementations.
• Drive projects forward within a Waterfall environment, while also possessing an understanding of Agile methodologies for effective collaboration.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within the financial services and banking sector.
• Strong understanding of savings account products and associated data dynamics.
• Proficiency in documentation and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with Waterfall methodologies; understanding of Agile principles is advantageous.
• Technical acumen, including knowledge of data integration, APIs, and data mapping.
