Senior C++ Developer Omnium Platform

Client is looking for a Senior C++ Programmer, for the Alternative investment team.

As a C++ Developer for the Omnium Platform, you will:

• Lead the design of major systems and subsystems supporting Alternative Fund Services
• Propose new designs and modify existing ones to improve performance, functionality, and stability
• Develop, test, and deploy high-performance, multi-threaded software solutions
• Partner with business leaders to deliver custom, strategic solutions
• Provide technical consultation and guidance across the development team
• Contribute to core system development and support trading applications
• Work closely with end users to define and refine technical requirements
• Drive initiatives involving cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving
  

Qualifications:

• Extensive C++11+ experience, ideally on Linux/Unix
• Strong knowledge of multi-threaded application design
• Experience with distributed systems and real-time data processing
• Familiarity with open source, database technologies, and microservices
• Skilled in Python, Perl, R, or shell scripting
• Strong server-side programming and automation experience
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (MS preferred)
• Understanding of financial instruments and trading systems is a strong plus
• Experience designing WinForms or desktop applications is a plus
• Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment pipelines
• Experience with UNIX IPC mechanisms (sockets, shared memory, semaphores)
• Background in financial markets or trading platforms
• Prior work in cloud-native development environments
• Proven track record delivering scalable, high-performance backend systems
