National Grid is hiring a Senior Coordinator, Electrical Construction and Maintenance Engineering for Massachusetts. This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations

Job Purpose

The Senior Technology Coordinator will serve as the frontline support for office and field-based teams, helping to implement and maintain the company's technology standards in remote and dynamic environments. From onboarding users on new software to resolving connectivity and hardware issues, this position ensures that project teams stay connected, productive, and equipped with the tools they need.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with hands-on fieldwork, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Key Accountabilities
Deploy, configure, and maintain technology equipment (laptops, tablets, smartphones, hotspots, printers) across the Massachusetts territory, including at construction job sites
Provide on-site and remote support for troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues (common applications include: SAP, Procore, OpenDoc, SharePoint, ArcGIS, Starlink, etc.)
Develop comprehensive training guides for business applications and train field staff on the use of company-approved apps, devices, and digital workflows
Coordinate equipment replacements, repairs, and upgrades
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support rollout of new tech initiatives and ensure all equipment is up-to-date and functioning properly
Document common issues and create easy-to-use guides or training materials for field teams
Organize and ensure department SharePoint sites are accessible and functional
Maintain an inventory of all technological equipment and ensure proper documentation of repairs and maintenance
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend updates or new tools to improve efficiency

Qualifications
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Proven experience in a technical support or training role, preferably in a field environment
Working knowledge of iOS, Windows, and mobile device management (MDM) tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support diverse groups of users
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and travel frequently to job sites
Valid driver's license with ability to travel across the National Grid service territory in Massachusetts to support various office and field locations.

Salary - $111,000 - $130,000

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
