Job Title: Senior Data Architect
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Long Term
Overview:
Seeking a seasoned Senior Data Architect to lead data architecture efforts across Data Warehouse, ODS, ETL/Data Replication, and broader data management environments. This expert-level role partners closely with Business, DBA, ETL, and Data Management teams to deliver scalable, consistent, and governed data solutions. Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and maintain Data Governance standards, policies, and best practices.
Keep data definitions, lineage, and dictionaries current and accessible.
Collaborate with ETL, Replication, and DBA teams to optimize data movement, transformations, and support processes.
Guide and mentor Data Architects and Analysts on data modeling and design best practices.
Contribute to architectural strategies across Data Warehouse, ODS, and Data Management initiatives.
Partner with business and enterprise architecture teams on data-driven solutions.
Build the MDM roadmap, lead tool implementation, and define governance and design standards for MDM.
Required Experience & Skills:
5+ years in Data Architecture (OLTP, Data Warehouse, Big Data).
5+ years in Solution Architecture.
5+ years of Master Data Management (MDM) experience.
5+ years in Data Governance with strong understanding of best practices.
Strong knowledge of data movement & processing: ETL, Middleware, APIs, OLAP, and data tracking methodologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and collaborative team player.
