Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (Python + AWS + Prefect)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The right candidate will be hands-on with modern data tools, skilled at building automated pipelines, and experienced in working with cloud platforms (especially AWS). This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex data problems and building efficient, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data pipelines using Prefect and Python.

  • Work with AWS (Athena, Redshift, S3, Lambda) to store, process, and query large datasets.

  • Use Terraform for infrastructure automation and deployment.

  • Partner with teams to analyze data and deliver insights through visualization tools (Tableau or similar).

  • Support reporting on cloud costs (AWS, Google, Azure) and help optimize usage.

  • Troubleshoot data flow and automation issues, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience in Python (data engineering, scripting, automation).

  • Hands-on with Prefect for building pipelines.

  • Expertise in AWS (especially Athena; plus Redshift, S3, Lambda are a bonus).

  • Terraform experience for cloud infrastructure management.

  • Knowledge of JavaScript for building or integrating with visualization tools.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with FinOps (cloud cost management).

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Background working with SAP data sources.
