EPAM is seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer with a strong focus on Foundry, PySpark and enterprise data modelling to join our team in Cyprus.
You will join a team building analytical applications for our client, where accurate risk accumulation analysis is critical. The business logic is complex and requires a detail-oriented, systematic approach. While pixel-perfect UI is not required, the applications feature robust UX and advanced visualizations, including complex maps.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain analytical applications using Foundry Code Repositories, Workshop and application frameworks
- Implement backend logic in Python, ensuring robust and scalable data processing
- Build frontend components (JavaScript/TypeScript) leveraging Foundry's UI primitives
- Design and maintain enterprise data models to support business analysis and reporting
- Translate business requirements into interactive dashboards and applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytical solutions
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong Python programming skills for backend logic
- Comfortable with frontend development using JS/TS and Foundry UI primitives
- Solid understanding of enterprise data modelling concepts and best practices
- Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing
- Experience with Foundry platform (Code Repositories, Workshop, application frameworks) is nice to have
- Exposure to risk analysis or financial analytics domains is an advantage
- Ability to convert business analysis into interactive, user-friendly dashboards and apps
- Detail-oriented and systematic approach to complex business logic
