A fast-growing and successful consumer financial services organization based in Plano, Texas is seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our expanding Corporate Reporting & Analytics team.
We're looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and a passion for building scalable data systems that support business insights and decision-making.

Qualifications:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a closely related role.
- Enthusiastic about designing, building, and maintaining data workflows and pipelines.
- Solid experience with SQL (preferably MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL), Python, and data modeling/warehousing techniques.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools or libraries such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Superset, matplotlib, or Plotly.
- Foundational understanding of data science concepts including statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with Salesforce and/or digital marketing data is a plus, though not required.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines that serve multiple business units.
- Develop robust, maintainable solutions to complex data problems using clean, production-quality code.
- Prepare data for reporting, visualization, and analytical use across the organization.
- Collect, transform, and integrate data from diverse internal and external sources.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and tools that support business decision-making.
- Promote data best practices and help business teams make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Ensure clear, consistent, and high-quality documentation of systems and processes.
