Job Title: Senior Data Integration / Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Saint Louis, MO (onsite)

Job Type: Long-term contract



Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Integration Developer to design, develop, and support robust data integration and business intelligence (BI) solutions. This role involves close collaboration with IT, Architecture, Business Analysts, and Report Developers to transform business needs into scalable data solutions. You will be responsible for data integration, modeling, and performance tuning within modern data warehouse environments, including Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server.





Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders and BI teams to gather and understand requirements.
  • Design and implement end-to-end data integration solutions using ETL/ELT methodologies and UNIX scripting.
  • Write complex SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading across large-scale enterprise data warehouse environments.
  • Work extensively with MPP platforms such as Amazon Redshift and at least one of Teradata, Snowflake, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Design and optimize fact and dimension data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and dashboards to support quick decision-making.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical teams to define and enforce data integration best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to support deployments and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage project deliverables, conduct meetings, and ensure alignment between business and technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience writing SQL scripts in enterprise data warehouse environments, including at least 2 of the following systems:
    • Teradata
    • Snowflake
    • Oracle
    • SQL Server
    • Amazon Redshift
  • 7+ years of experience in data integration using UNIX scripting and ETL methodologies.
  • 7+ years designing fact and dimension models and data visualization solutions.
  • 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-level IT and BI solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, including stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination.
