They are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions that drive business growth and enhance customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Analyze large, diverse datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Drive innovation by exploring new methodologies, technologies, and approaches to enhance data science capabilities.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the data science team, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement..
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) working as a data scientist, with a focus on machine learning, predictive modeling, and data analysis.
- Strong proficiency Python, as well as libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Previous history of working in a startup or small company/team environment.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
