Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-level database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server development, reporting, ETL processes, and data integration, with exposure to financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain relational databases with a focus on performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, and queries using SQL.
• Create, enhance, and support enterprise reports and dashboards for business and analytical needs.
• Develop and maintain data integration and transformation workflows (ETL processes).
• Build and support analytical dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot batch jobs and automated data workflows.
• Manage secure file transfers and data exchanges between internal and external systems.
• Support data workflows related to financial and advisory reporting requirements.
• Perform database performance tuning, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security standards, and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server.
• 7+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise reporting solutions.
• 3+ years of experience in dashboarding and data visualization tools.
• 3+ years of experience with ETL and data integration tools.
• 3+ years of experience with job scheduling and batch processing tools.
• 3+ years of experience with secure file transfer and data exchange systems.
• Strong understanding of financial services data, with exposure to advisory or investment-related products.
