Position: Senior Database Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

1) Provides technical and database administrative support for the LTPP and LTBP programs, and other relevant infrastructure research databases.

2) The Senior Database Engineer shall have at least 8 years of experience in database design, data warehousing, data modeling, administration, database programming, and data validation and processing. Responsibilities include performance tuning, implementing backup and recovery strategies, automating database deployment and migration, ensuring database security, and supporting compliance with data governance and regulatory standards. Proficiency in commonly used database technologies and tools, including Oracle RDBMS and Microsoft SQL Server, is required, along with familiarity with modern cloud-based database services.

A minimum of a Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field, and at least 8 years of relevant experience, is required.
