In this role, you will lead the design, automation, and optimization of cloud environments, ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native services
- Proven background in CI/CD automation, release engineering, and deployment workflows
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and security best practices
- Scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, or industrial engineering environments
- Knowledge of service meshes, distributed systems, or microservices
- Experience supporting high-availability, real-time applications
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar tooling
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support mission-critical systems
- Designing and improving CI/CD pipelines for reliability and speed
- Enhancing platform performance, scalability, and overall system architecture
- Automating infrastructure and deployment processes
- Ensuring system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Collaborating closely with software, data, and platform engineering teams
