Senior Functional Consultant Project Operations (Integrated ERP) 12+ Month Contract
Irving, TX (Prefer local w/ hybrid, but open for out-of-town w/ paid travel)
We are seeking a senior-level Dynamics 365 Project Operations Functional Consultant with deep experience in Integrated ERP implementations. The ideal consultant must have strong hands-on expertise with D365 Project Operations or PSA, F&O integration, and end-to-end project lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional design and configuration of D365 Project Operations Integrated ERP or Project Ops Lite (with PMA knowledge).
- Work across Dataverse/CE and F&O PMA modules.
- Configure project quotations, contracts, WBS, tasks, and project invoicing (T&M, FP, POC).
- Manage and validate dual-write integrations for project entities.
- Handle project accounting: cost accounting, WIP, revenue recognition, GL financial dimensions.
- Lead data migration: project master data, WIP balances, historical data, open transactions, validation & DMF processing.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, integrations, Business Events Catalog, and end-to-end project flows.
Required Experience
- 3-4 years in Dynamics 365 Project Operations / PSA functional consulting with F&O integration.
- Strong understanding of both CE/Dataverse project processes and F&O PMA.
- Proven experience with dual-write, project financials, invoicing models, subcontract orders, and data migration strategies.
- Ability to independently research, configure, and deliver solutions with minimal guidance.
- Must be able to quickly learn new modules and train users within short timelines.
