Job Description

Constellation Energy is seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics Developer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains). This role will focus on development, customization, integration, and long-term support of Dynamics GP solutions in an enterprise environment.

Great Plains experience is mandatory for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and support Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) solutions

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Dynamics GP and other enterprise systems

  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports

  • Customize GP using Dexterity, Modifier with VBA, and/or .NET technologies

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and data issues

  • Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and other developers

  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and performance tuning

  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for Dynamics GP development

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics Developer

  • Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) required

  • Expertise with:

    • Dynamics GP architecture and modules

    • SQL Server, T-SQL, and database performance tuning

    • Dexterity, Modifier/VBA, and/or .NET integrations

  • Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, SmartLists, or similar)

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting large enterprise or energy/utilities clients

  • Experience with GP upgrades or cloud/hosted environments

  • Exposure to Power BI or other analytics tools

  • Leadership or technical lead experience
