We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Electrician to join our Team in Malvern, PA!

Summary:

Technician ensures compliant, accurate, and timely completion of preventive, corrective, emergency maintenance and project support of Johnson & Johnson's Malvern pharmaceutical manufacturing and R&D lab operations and utilities and facilities equipment. Complete predictive, corrective and preventive maintenance on all electrical and control equipment and systems. Ensures that all work is completed in a safe and cost-effective manner, in compliance with Company Policies, EHS guidelines and GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices). Senior Electrician will also be responsible for life cycle management and maintaining the reliability of manufacturing assets and utilities, through preventive and corrective work-orders. This is a 24/7 running facility.

Key Responsibilities:

    \n
  • Primary responsibility is the implement preventive, corrective, emergency maintenance and project support on GMP and non-GMP electrical devices, circuits, panels, breakers, switchgear, emergency generators in a manufacturing and R&D lab environment.
  • \n
  • Complete calibration and repair of instrumentation used in manufacturing and R&D lab systems. Maintain all calibration standards.
  • \n
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, instruments and instrumentation systems as assigned.
  • \n
  • Working knowledge of equipment including but not limited to PLC control systems and HMI's.
  • \n

Qualifications

Education:
    \n
  • Minimum of a High School diploma and Journeyman Electrical Certification is required.
  • \n
  • Trade / Technical School certification or Military equivalent of Trade / Technical School certification is preferred.
  • \n
\n

Experience and Skills:

Required:
    \n
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
  • \n
  • Ability to independently perform duties, diagnose and resolve complex problems
  • \n
  • Experience in coordinating with business units outside of maintenance and ability to lead programs within the maintenance department
  • \n
  • Experience in developing and training others
  • \n
  • Expertise in electrical and electromechanical theory, thermal energy principals, mechanical maintenance techniques
  • \n
\n

Preferred:
    \n
  • Experience in automation systems: PLCs, ISA-95 level 1, 2 and 3 system troubleshooting
  • \n
  • Experience in analysis on Identifying gaps in processes
  • \n
  • Work knowledge in retrieving and analyzing data from sources such as control systems;
  • \n
  • Experience in process improvement, making recommendations and leading implementation
  • \n
  • Experience in leading small departmental projects and serve as subject matter expert on project team
  • \n
  • Work experience in Pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • \n

  • May require up to 10% domestic travel
