Job Description

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling jobs for piping systems for Pipe, Boiler, and Fabrication Crews:
    \n
  • Perform Job planning, materials and labor estimating, stakeholder coordination, and scheduling work for repair, installation, and Preventive Maintenance activities.
  • \n
  • Prepares methods, manning, material packages, and scheduling coordination for completion of jobs.
  • \n
  • Work with mechanics to Identify and procure materials for jobs
  • \n
  • Generates purchase requests for Buyers, writes purchase specs and works with Buyers and vendors to expedite deliveries.
  • \n
  • Works with Stockroom Supervisors to monitor and replenish inventories for high use materials.
  • \n
  • Utilizes MAXIMO Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage crew's backlog. Including evaluation of new requests, generating job plan details, ordering materials, scheduling work, and monitoring execution performance through closeout.

Technical Support:
    \n
  • Experience working on installed systems, components, or products (Piping, Boiler, Steel Fabrication) is preferred, as this role will be required to actively help analyze equipment failures and coordinates with systems Engineers, and Vendors for troubleshooting assistance as required.
  • \n
  • Develops and maintains equipment files and machinery data within Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). MAXIMO experience a plus.
  • \n
  • Inspects and monitors preventative maintenance job-tasks and diagnostic procedures.
  • \n
  • Perform Job Hazard Analysis and coordinate risk mitigation (such as equipment Lock Out Tag Out, Dig Safe, Fall Plans), and personal protective equipment (PPE) are understood and established to ensure safe job sites for planned jobs
  • \n
  • Ability to read Technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • \n

Administrative:
    \n
  • Supports Facilities Program & Project management in matters such as writing labor and material estimates, reporting asset performance histories, etc.
  • \n
  • Occasionally assist in performing direct supervision of jobs and work crews as needed.
  • \n


Required/Preferred Education/Training

Required:
  • High School/GED or Graduate Apprentice, or Associates Degree with working experience In the field.
\n
Preferred:
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Technical, or Business Management.


Required/Preferred Experience

Required:
  • Minimum of 5-years' technical experience with piping repair and installation for compressed air, boiler steam/condensate, or utility services (water/septic) systems.

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 5-years work experience in industrial/commercial setting.
  • \n
  • Minimum of 5-years of planning and project management experience.
  • \n
  • Minimum of 3-years supervising in maintenance organization.
  • \n
  • Minimum of 3-years of resource planning and manpower allocation.
  • \n

Additional Skills Required/Preferred:

  • Maintenance troubleshooting and repair or construction experience (building & civil infrastructure systems) preferred.
