Job Role: Senior Front-End Engineer, React

Remote (Open to US and Canada only)

Duration: 6 months contract, with possibility of extension

Job description:

As Client expands into the global and consumer markets, must offer state-of-the-art contact center tools for providing customer support. We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer, React (Contractor) to work with the Customer Experiences team, delivering innovative UIs to transform the experience of Marqeta s global cardholders.

The Impact You ll Have

  • Embed in a Scrum team of frontend and fullstack engineers
  • Attend daily standups and biweekly sprint ceremonies
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, and Design) and key stakeholders
  • Build new interfaces to support new Global customers
  • Produce high quality, well-tested, pixel-perfect work, and going the extra mile to deliver delightful and thoughtful experiences

Who You Are

  • 5+ years front end development experience
  • Expertise with React building web-based interfaces for performing CRUD operations
  • Expertise integrating with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with GraphQL and Node.js servers
  • Experience with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD
  • Experience achieving high percentage of unit test coverage with Jest or Vitest
  • Experience building new features in large applications with existing patterns
  • Experience with SSO and OAuth 2
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to quickly onboard to new projects

Nice to haves

  • Payments or fintech experience
  • Experience building contact center tooling
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience with e2e testing using Cypress or similar tools
  • Experience with Auth0 and role-based access
