Senior Full Stack Cloud Engineer

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract or Full-Time

seeking a Senior Full Stack Cloud Engineer to lead development for its Smart Grid 2.0 initiative. This role requires strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud, IoT integration, data engineering, and AI/ML. The ideal candidate can design secure, scalable, cloud-native systems and guide teams in building innovative energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy end-to-end cloud-native and IoT architectures using AWS.

  • Build real-time data pipelines, time-series databases, and analytics dashboards.

  • Develop AI/ML solutions for predictive maintenance and grid optimization.

  • Lead technical design reviews, mentor developers, and drive DevOps excellence.

Required Skills:

  • 8 10 years of software development; 5+ years in AWS.

  • Expertise with AWS (Lambda, IoT Core, Kinesis, Glue, Redshift, Bedrock).

  • Strong in Python, Java, or TypeScript; experience with Docker/Kubernetes.

  • Background in data engineering, IoT, and real-time analytics.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in energy, utilities, or industrial IoT.

  • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, ML, IoT).

  • Familiar with Terraform, CloudFormation, and edge computing.
