Senior IT Project Manager

Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager for our direct client.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 12+ months

Estimated pay range: $72 - 89 per hour per client contract and candidate skills, experience and work location.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Gain cross-functional alignment for successful project execution.
• Cross-functional teams include Engineering, IT, Testing, Project Quality, Operations, Security, Applications, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Compliance, Field Service, Customer Service, and other Business Units.
• Manage activities and tasks related to new vendor evaluation, communication and coordination with internal team and vendors for Product Demos, Security Assessment, MSA, SOW and POC activities as needed.
• Partner with business PM and leverage Organization Change Management stakeholder analysis, communication plans, training material and end user training, solution adoption.
• Organize and lead core team and executive steering committee meetings.
• Provide clear communication to the organization on project status, critical path, as well as potential areas of risk in successful execution of projects.
• Create, manage project plan and supporting tools to monitor timely tracking and status reporting to project team and executive leadership.
• Manage project scope, resource constraints adhering to Project Management methodology and IT change control.
• Work with project owners to ensure business needs are met
• Work with the project team and key stake holders facilitating meetings, assisting in tasks, etc.
• Act as Test/Validation Lead, Training Lead, Cutover Lead, OCM lead and Project Coordinator except where the size of the project justifies a separate resource for one or more of these roles.

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet and Box as an end user/basic administrator and general collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom)
• Preferred familiarity with Jira, Microfocus ALM, Anaplan, Tableau applications
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability to lead, influence and work well at all levels of an organization and in a cross functional team environment.
• Ability to handle ambiguity effectively and oversee multiple projects at once.
• Minimum 8 years of experience involved in leading major cross-functional projects in Engineering and Manufacturing Operations
• Medical device experience is a plus.
• Certification in project management (PMP) desired
• BS or equivalent work experience
