Leidos is seeking a highly experienced Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Eagle Command Program in Springfield, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The ISSO will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of security standards and procedures for complex, classified networked environments, ensuring compliance with federal and industry security policies, and driving the process to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) for highly sensitive systems.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Key Responsibilities (based on most recent job duties):
- Determine and document information security requirements for Eagle Command Program systems, allocating resources as part of mission, business process, and capital investment planning.
- Lead and manage the system development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring information security requirements are incorporated and roles/responsibilities are clearly defined throughout the SDLC.
- Oversee acquisition planning for IT systems, ensuring security and privacy requirements, assurance mechanisms, and supply chain risk management are addressed in all procurement activities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain organization-wide information security programs, policies, and procedures, supporting investigations regarding violations.
- Coordinate cybersecurity incident response and review vulnerability management results across the organization.
- Document and maintain System Security Plans, ensuring controls are in place and updated to address company changes and risks.
- Lead risk assessments, configuration management, and security authorization processes, including POA&M tracking and security assessment planning.
- Serve as a key advisor for system owners, supporting the development and deployment of compliant software, hardware, and services.
- Communicate current enterprise cybersecurity threat status and serve as the final authority for exception to policy requests.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Extensive experience in information systems security, including risk assessment, security design, and compliance for classified environments. 8+ years of experience. Experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven ability to lead security programs for TS/SCI systems.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Strong knowledge of government security standards, ATO processes, and SDLC security integration.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
- Experience with federal government security programs and classified systems.
- Familiarity with Leidos security tools and processes.
