Position Title: Senior IT Manager Fixed Income Investment Firm

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)

Overview:

A highly regarded, research-driven investment firm is seeking a Senior IT Manager to lead infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business systems initiatives supporting its fixed income investment operations. This is a strategic but hands-on leadership role for a technology leader with deep experience in capital markets.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead IT strategy and operations across infrastructure, cloud, desktop support, and cybersecurity.
  • Directly support fixed income trading, operations, and compliance platforms.
  • Manage a small internal team and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (SEC, SOC 2) and maintain robust business continuity plans.
  • Oversee projects involving OMS platforms (e.g., Bloomberg AIM), data pipelines, reporting, and cloud migrations.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to portfolio managers, operations, and compliance teams.



Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in financial services, with direct fixed income platform support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure or AWS, cybersecurity protocols, and enterprise networks.
  • Prior experience supporting trade lifecycle tools, compliance platforms, and data reporting.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • U.S. citizenship or green card required.



Compensation:

Highly competitive salary, performance-based bonus, and full benefits. Hybrid schedule (~3 days onsite per week in SF).
