Description:

Mercer Investments is a leading global investment management organization undergoing a major multi-year transformation. We are implementing a comprehensive target operating model (TOM) that includes portfolio management, trading, compliance, middle/back office, performance, data, analytics, and client-facing services. Our strategic partnerships include State Street Alpha, Factset, Jacobi, MS Dynamics, and other leading vendors, alongside next-generation data platforms leveraging AI and advanced analytics. This is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA.

Senior Investment Technology Quality Assurance and Support Leader

We will count on you to:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies across unit, system, UAT, and production readiness testing to ensure high-quality technology implementations.
  • Oversee and coordinate testing activities with end users, vendors, and internal teams across multiple regions and systems, ensuring timely issue remediation and retesting.
  • Lead the design and implementation of robust support models, managing smooth transitions from testing to production and ensuring proactive post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors, technology teams, data operations, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless, reliable, and scalable investment technology solutions.
  • Drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement while mentoring junior team members and vendor support staff.

What you need to have:
  • Proven experience with investment management application suites such as State Street Alpha (CRIMS, ADP, SS MO/BO) and related middle/back office, analytics, and reporting systems.
  • Extensive background in front-to-back investment management systems, both vended and custom-built.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and managing complex support organizations involving vendor and internal resources.
  • Strong understanding of investment operations, portfolio management, trading, compliance, and data workflows.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in large-scale transformation programs with phased implementations and iterative improvements.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, support frameworks, and change management in investment technology environments.
