Job Details
Job Title: Senior Mainframe Developer with Easytrieve
Location: Hybrid in Davenport, IA
Job Type: Long-term contract
Required Qualifications:
- We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Lead with deep expertise in legacy systems and a strong command over Easytrieve, COBOL, VSAM, JCL, and CICS.
- The ideal candidate will lead development and support initiatives, mentor team members, and ensure the delivery of robust and scalable mainframe solutions.
- Lead and manage mainframe development and support teams across multiple projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Easytrieve, COBOL, VSAM, JCL, and CICS.
- Provide technical leadership in optimizing and modernizing Easytrieve programs.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and development environments.
- Drive performance tuning and enhancements for legacy applications.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards.
