The Maximo Sr. Business Application Developer WAM (Work and Asset Management) is responsible for providing technical support for NJR's Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. This role involves developing and supporting the IBM Maximo application throughout its lifecycle, including design, implementation, maintenance, and support. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure the application meets operational needs.
Responsibilities
Utilize industry-leading practices to architect, design, develop, and support application solutions using the IBM Maximo platform.
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Develop and support integration interfaces with enterprise applications such as GIS, Oracle ERP, SAP C4C, and Clevest using Web Services, REST/SOAP, and Maximo Integration Framework capabilities.
Design, develop, and support Maximo application enhancements including database configurations, workflow processes, and automation scripts.
Provide production support to troubleshoot and resolve application, interface, workflow, reporting, and data integrity issues.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, user guides, and troubleshooting guides.
Continuously improve technical and professional skills through active mentoring and training.
Build and maintain strong relations with Business and IT Leaders and stakeholders across various business units.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management- Maximo (WAM) and Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) technology, architecture, and implementation experience in the energy and utility domain.
At least 6 years of experience implementing, configuring, and tailoring IBM Maximo (7x) EAM and associated solutions.
Experience in configuring automation scripts in Python, Jython, and JavaScript.
Strong knowledge of Maximo, including Maximo Application Designer, schemas/tables/relationships, Workflow Designer, and integration framework (MIF).
Experience with Maximo Integration Framework integrating with various enterprise applications using JSON/REST services.
Experience in IBM DB2, SQL, XML, and HTML.
Experience in BIRT for developing complex custom reports.
Experience in designing, developing, and implementing workflow processes within IBM Maximo application.
Excellent team communication skills and experience in providing guidance and best practices for configuring IBM Maximo EAM cloud systems.
