Overview
We are seeking a Senior Mendix Developer/Architect to play a pivotal role in a large-scale digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing legacy manufacturing applications. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Mendix with architectural leadership and the ability to guide partner teams. This role requires a balance of hands-on development, solution architecture, and cross-team collaboration to deliver impactful low-code solutions that support global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and end-to-end development of Mendix-based applications supporting manufacturing and business operations.
- Provide architectural oversight, governance, and quality assurance across multiple concurrent projects.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, consultants, and technical teams to ensure alignment with enterprise digital transformation goals.
- Mentor and coach external and partner development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and scalable design principles.
- Integrate persona-based design concepts and outcomes from design thinking workshops into solution architecture.
- Contribute to project planning, roadmaps, and execution cycles, ensuring timely delivery in line with organizational priorities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Mendix development with a strong portfolio of production-grade applications.
- Proven experience in solution and application architecture within low-code platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application modernization strategies, including integration with legacy systems.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial environments highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid or remote environment, with occasional travel as required.
