Competencies
Must-Have:
10+ years of experience in network engineering within large-scale enterprise environments
Expertise in network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization
Strong knowledge of networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, and other leading vendors
Proficiency in firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and Zscaler security solutions
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
Skilled in monitoring/diagnostic tools (LogicMonitor, Wireshark, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Good-to-Have:
Advanced certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent)
Experience in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration
Knowledge of compliance frameworks, industry standards, and risk management practices
Responsibilities
Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance network solutions
Plan and execute upgrades, expansions, and optimizations to support business growth
Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, documentation, and SOPs
Monitor and maintain infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability
Implement proactive monitoring systems to identify and resolve issues
Perform regular maintenance, patches, and configuration changes
Diagnose and resolve complex performance, connectivity, and security issues
Provide Tier-3 support for escalated incidents and collaborate with IT teams
Analyze traffic patterns and metrics to identify risks and bottlenecks
Implement and manage security measures (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits
Ensure compliance with security and industry standards
Lead and participate in network-related projects, ensuring timely delivery
Collaborate with business and technical teams on new services and applications
Stay updated on networking technologies, trends, and best practices
Continuously identify opportunities to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability
