Competencies

Must-Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering within large-scale enterprise environments

  • Expertise in network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization

  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, and other leading vendors

  • Proficiency in firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and Zscaler security solutions

  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure)

  • Skilled in monitoring/diagnostic tools (LogicMonitor, Wireshark, etc.)

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Good-to-Have:

  • Advanced certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent)

  • Experience in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration

  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks, industry standards, and risk management practices


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance network solutions

  • Plan and execute upgrades, expansions, and optimizations to support business growth

  • Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, documentation, and SOPs

  • Monitor and maintain infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability

  • Implement proactive monitoring systems to identify and resolve issues

  • Perform regular maintenance, patches, and configuration changes

  • Diagnose and resolve complex performance, connectivity, and security issues

  • Provide Tier-3 support for escalated incidents and collaborate with IT teams

  • Analyze traffic patterns and metrics to identify risks and bottlenecks

  • Implement and manage security measures (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits

  • Ensure compliance with security and industry standards

  • Lead and participate in network-related projects, ensuring timely delivery

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams on new services and applications

  • Stay updated on networking technologies, trends, and best practices

  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability
