Job Details

We are looking for a hands-on, seasoned candidate with the below experience:

    • At least 8+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
    • Strong skills in Oracle server-side programming which includes SQL, SQL*Plus, PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Cursors, Triggers, Views, Materialize Views, Temporary tables, Object Oriented PL/SQL Programming, Job, Schedulers, PL/SQL Web-services, Java Stored Procedures and Oracle AQ.
    • Hands on experience on XML generation inside PL/SQL components.
    • Strong Skills in data analysis, data modeling, development, testing and documentation.
    • Strong skills on automating jobs using UNIX Shell scripts to run all the SQL files in a directory by invoking SQL *Plus.
    • Hands on writing Cursors, User-defined Object types, Records, and Tables in PL/SQL Programming for generating worksheets, Arrays & Queues.
    • Strong Skills in Exception Handling extensively debug PL/SQL Code, DDL, DML and display the error messages in the application.
    • Experience in creating Materialized Views and Indexes for better performance of summary tables, Autonomous Transactions, Coding Dynamic SQL Statements.
    • Experience in SQL Tunning to improve the query performance by identifying key fields, adding/removing tables/fields, and use of indexes.
    • Good understanding of Oracle Explain Plan.

Must have experience on:

  • Experience in writing Packages for data loads.
  • Experience creating and maintained Stored Procedure (Packages, Procedures, Function, and anonymous block) with Oracle PL/SQL
  • Experience using Cursors to pull data from the Database.
  • Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, explain plan etc.
  • Experience with external tables, and high-volume data import into Oracle DB
