Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking for Sr. Systems Administrators in the Seattle, WA area!

Title: Sr. Systems Administrator

Schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm PST

Duration: Direct Hire

Location: Seattle, WA 98115 (Onsite)

Salary: $107k-$126k DOE

**Covid vaccination is required**

Summary:

Plans, designs and maintains the Picture Archive and Computer System (PACS) or similar clinical image archiving and viewing solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Implements and maintains PACS systems to include image data maintenance and image archive and display.
  • Works with information technology to efficiently process data information.
  • Documents system requirements; acts as a liaison between radiology/cardiology or other clinical staff, radiologists/cardiologists, and ordering physicians in designing the structure of a system.
  • Trains clinical staff and other users (as needed) on how to use the system; acquire electronic images; QC image data; display image data and archive image data.
  • Integrates PACS system to provide efficient processes for image interpretation.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in the clinical area is required, including system implementation, maintenance, documentation and training with a radiology or similar system.
  • PACS Administration experience.
  • Bachelors degree in management information systems, health care management, radiological technology, or related field OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • VNA, HL7, DICOM, Project management.
  • Any PACS / Imaging related certification preferred, not required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radiology/cardiology (or similar) information systems is required, in addition to word-processing, spreadsheet/graphics and database applications.
  • Additional system experience may be substituted for the clinical experience.
