Job Details
Title: Senior PowerBuilder Developer
Location: Albany, NY (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term
Must have Qualification:
- 84 months? experience writing PowerBuilder Code.
- 24 months? experience writing PowerBuilder Code, specifically using Version 10.5.
- 48 months? experience with databases, including designing Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures and writing SQL.
- 60 months? experience with gathering requirements and creating design documents.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in PowerBuilder and its development environment.
- Expertise in SQL and relational database concepts (e.g., Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Microsoft VSS, Git).
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable code.
