Requirements: 5+ Years Experience as Project Manager for large ground up mixed use or multifamily projects
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee our mixed-use and multifamily development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading project teams, managing budgets, schedules, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high-quality results that meet stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mixed-use and multifamily development projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet project timelines.
- Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee construction management processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform site analyses to inform project planning and development decisions.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, specifically in mixed-use and multifamily development.
- Proven experience in team leadership and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.
- Expertise in scheduling and project planning tools.
- Experience in risk management and problem-solving strategies.
- Familiarity with construction management processes and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record in contract negotiation and vendor management.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and site analysis procedures.
