Release Train Engineer, Senior
The Opportunity:

As a Release Train Engineer, you manage engineering support for all the processes and activities of agile sof tware development. You're passionate about outcomes and supporting development teams working on critical IC projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done.

On our team, you'll apply your advanced consulting skills, extensive te chn ical expertise, and full industry knowledge to ensure program success. You will develop innovative solutions to complex problems and work without considerable direction. You'll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders and mentor and supervise team members to help coach the team to their highest performance level.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience with IT
  • 5+ years of experience leading Scrum, Agile, or SAFe teams
  • 2+ years of experience interacting with clients and providing program support across multiple Agile teams
  • Experience coordinating product development activities across the program or project and developing requirements
  • Experience providing input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Experience evaluating Sprint Reviews and Demos
  • Experience managing and maintaining a Program Increment backlog
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Jira, including use of Jira Dashboards and Advanced Roadmaps
  • Experience leading Agile transformation efforts and working collaboratively to establish or incrementally improve large solution Agile processes
  • Experience supporting the IC
  • Experience in sof tware engineering and development
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence, including project administration
  • Master's degree in IT, CS, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Agile or SAFe Certification such as SAFe Program Consultant Certification
  • Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
