JOB DESCRIPTION:
Administer, test, implement, troubleshoot and maintain MS SQL Server databases (2012 & 2016). Specifically will:
- Implement and maintain cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Develop, modify, and optimize complex queries and stored procedures for data retrieval and modification.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, proactively identifying opportunities for tuning and scalability improvements.
- Collaborate with development, IT, and performance engineering teams to resolve database level issues related to stability, availability, and performance.
- Plan and execute database upgrades and apply necessary patches to ensure system security and stability.
