Position Overview:

Senior SQL Developer to join our healthcare data engineering team. The candidate will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL-based solutions supporting clinical, pharmacy, and operational systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL Server stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
Design and develop efficient ETL workflows using SSIS or similar tools.
Support data integration across multiple healthcare systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
Work closely with Data Architects and Analysts to design scalable data models.
Analyze and tune SQL queries for high performance in large datasets.
Implement and maintain data validation, error handling, and audit processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve production database and ETL issues.
Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and security standards.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server development (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS).
Strong proficiency in stored procedures, query optimization, and data transformations.
Prior experience in healthcare or pharmacy domain (claims, PBM, EMR/EHR data).
Experience with data migration, ETL, and data warehouse environments.
Understanding of HIPAA compliance and data security best practices.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance analysis.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Azure SQL, Snowflake, or cloud-based data platforms.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
