An company in Central NJ is seeking a Security Engineering Manager to lead their growing cybersecurity operations. This is a full-time leadership opportunity to guide a team of senior engineers working with best-in-class technology-SIEM platforms, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto firewalls, and enterprise risk frameworks. Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years in cybersecurity or infrastructure security, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role
- Deep expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, etc.)
- Proven track record implementing and managing CrowdStrike Falcon or equivalent endpoint detection tools
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and network segmentation strategies
- Demonstrated success managing risk management frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Strong understanding of cloud security and hybrid architecture (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure)
- Experience leading incident response and threat-hunting teams
- Previous experience building and scaling a Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Familiarity with governance, compliance, and audit readiness
- Scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC)
